Born and raised in Washington, DC, I wrote my first story in the fifth grade but didn't consider writing a profession when I pondered my career choices.
But after 33 years in serving at-risking youth, I resigned as Director of Operations for a non-profit organization to pursue my neglected passion to write novels.
I'm retired but not expired.
